Hi everybody, welcome to the Horror Nerds podcast. I'm just waiting for Samantha to get here, but I got something from a friend of ours and I'm so excited to try it out. Okay, let me show you. You see it? There we go. I feel like I have to do that influencer hand thing, like so nothing bad is gonna come from this, right? Like nothing bad could ever come from a dream is a wish your heart makes, right? That's what they say. So I'm gonna try it out. Oh, this feels so weird to do it on camera.
SPEAKER_01Okay. I wish Samantha Hale loved me more than anyone in the world. Hey. Hi, Bonnie. Oh my gosh, you look you look really pretty today.
SPEAKER_05Thanks, Sam. So do you so do you? I love your eye makeup. It's it's really pretty.
SPEAKER_06I'm so flattered. I love attention, so that's great. Oh yeah. Oh no.
SPEAKER_01No, no, no, don't do that.
SPEAKER_07Hi. Sorry, I don't know what came over me. God, that's so weird. Hi. Hi. Hi. Just uh I'm glad you're here. We're starting the episode. Okay, everybody. Hi. I'm not actually possessed, but I do just naturally and organically love Bonnie Williams very, very, very, very much. My heart. Yeah, but I mean, you probably should have wished for the million dollars and it would have just come right through the roof. But million? I'd want a billion.
SPEAKER_05Let's I mean, you know, that's like Dr. Evil being like $100,000. And they're like, ask for more, Dr. Evil. Ask for more.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. That guy, that guy wished for a million dollars in this economy. That's not gonna get you far. Would they shot it in Burbank? That won't get you a two-bedroom. Okay. Oh, buddy. Oh, buddy. Yeah. Well, I'm so glad that you got to make a wish today and that I appeared for an episode. I don't know. Should we talk about obsession? I don't know why I thought of that.
SPEAKER_05I don't know why either, but I feel like we should because everybody's been talking about it since it came out, and it's still a hot topic. And it's at Halloween Horror Nights this year. Well, Nikki is at Halloween Horror Nights this year. So I feel like everybody's still talking about it. So, you know, we're not gonna do a movie review, but I feel like we should absolutely talk about it because there's so many layers to this movie. Did you love it when you saw it?
SPEAKER_07I did, you know, I was just so taken aback with her performance that that was like all that I could really focus in on because it was so freaking good.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_07You know, like at first, I almost feel like I went home and I thought about it and I was like, well, I wish I would have known more about where the wishing willow came from. And then I thought, no, fuck it. I guess I don't need to know any of that. But I thought, and what was so like evident immediately was that they really executed the, you know, they kind of, I don't want to say made fun of because it was very dark and heavy and real and terrifying, but they kind of took the clingy girl cliche and just ripped it to shit in the best of ways. You know, so just the other day I was re-watching it, I had it on. Like I put on movies that I've already seen when I'm doing my little workouts or whatever. So I don't have to like fully pay attention, but I can just kind of, you know, help the time pass when you're doing your little floor crunches and squats and shit. So my boyfriend walked in and just saw just some of her facial expressions and literally was like, oh no, and just left. I was like, okay, well, I don't know what's worse for you, terrifier or Nikki? Like, who's more scary? Probably both. I think those are his two I don't want to hang out with characters. But yeah, it was, I mean, you know, her facial expressions and the the terror that she goes through in her head as a victim, really, as someone who's a victim of possession, who doesn't under who's terrified and can't control her autonomy is gone. That's like the really, really terrifying and heartbreaking part is like, what if you couldn't say no? What if you couldn't consent? What if there was something controlling you that made you say yes when you very clearly say no? And the fact that she had like flashes of realizing what was happening, that was the heartbreaking part for sure.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_07My ring light just gave us a jump scare, which you know it is the season, it is the haunt season, it is Halloween horror nights. Honestly, I feel like that ring light might have gotten you better than some of the scare actors. I didn't get jump scared at all at Halloween horror nights, but that ring light scared the shit out of me right now. That's incredible. Oh my god. I wish I could say I planned that, but I didn't. That makes it even better. I love your shirt. You know what? You know, I have a severe thrift shop problem, which is not a problem at all. It's actually a great thing. But you find stuff like this, like who would throw this away or like donate it, if you will. Who would donate this and then they sell it for three bucks? And I'm like, hell yeah, come to me. Yeah. You need that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Well, how do you feel about horror movies and chill? Do you want to horror movies and chill with me?
SPEAKER_07I do. I would love to horror movie and chill with you. Okay.
SPEAKER_05I think that would be funny.
SPEAKER_07Forever and ever. Forever and ever. And ever. And jump scare. Oh my god. I know. So you just went to Halloween horror nights. Okay, let's dissect that. Let's get into those mazes. Because I thought it was like they they came back with a vengeance this year. It was pretty gosh darn good this year. And they're always like, sometimes there's like, okay, that maze and that maze. Those were bangers. These were, you know, but this year they had several. Mm-hmm. Do you have a highlight for you?
SPEAKER_05Yes, I do. So we did most of them. We got the early entry. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07We did too. Okay. So we're hot tip for everyone who doesn't have $300 that they want to spend on the cut the line thing. What you do is you go on, I don't know, a Wednesday, possibly Thursday, maybe Sunday. Do not go there on a Friday or Saturday. Are you mental? Don't do that. But if you do the fast pass, it's like an extra 20 bucks. But you get in, I think it says five o'clock. 5 p.m. Yeah. So 5 p.m. So you will want to get your ass there. You will want to be at that gate no later than 4 45. And as soon as they let you in, you run and you find out. You already ask your friends, hey, what are the most popular mazes? What are the longest wait times? Of course, it's going to be like the new current big movie. That's always a long wait. And then you get your little download app, right? Your universal app. And then you find out, okay, this house and this house is in the upper lot. This is in the lower lot. And you make a goddamn football plan. You need like a head coach. It is insane. I took my poor boyfriend. We did date night, and Isaac had never been before. And he was just like, oh shit. I'm like, I made business. Move. Move your ass. Like I was like full drill sergeant. I was like, we can't just dawdle. We can't. No. We have to get from point A to point B because you don't understand. Every five minutes the line will go up. Move, soldier, move. Like I was out of my goddamn mind.
SPEAKER_05I love it. I love it.
SPEAKER_07We got in at five, right? The park opens at 6:30, I think. And we banged out three mazes, like the popular mazes. I think we went straight to Hellraiser and then Evil Dead Burn was right next to it. And then we ran up to Sinners, and those were our big priorities.
SPEAKER_05Those were the exact same things we did in that order. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Oh my God, great minds think a lot. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Because one of the employees said to do that. They said go down to the lower level, start there, then and then run.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. Yeah. That's that's what we did. I loved Hellraiser. My only note would be like, I probably should have waited until it was dark to go on Hellraiser. That probably would have made a difference for me. Yeah. But I liked Evil Dead Burn way more than I thought I would. And Isaac actually really liked it, which surprised me. Maybe because it's in the woods. He loves trees. But that movie, did you you saw it? Did you see Evil Dead Burn?
SPEAKER_05I haven't seen any of the new ones. But I have been on the mazes at Universal when the new Evil Dead came out in 2013. I went in the maze, and then I went in this maze. So I feel like I'm watching the movies. I know, but they there's not enough Bruce Campbell.
SPEAKER_07I'll get to them eventually. That is fair. That is totally fair. The first Evil Dead like remake one, that was bloody as hell. It was really good though. I think that's probably the best one. Evil Dead Rise with the Mom. The Mom's creepy for sure. Burn was Burn. I liked it. But I wasn't like, oh my God, but I did not like it. But the funniest part though, seeing Evil Dead Burns. So we went to Isaac and I went to go see it. And we were maybe a half hour into the movie, and these three little old ladies come in, clearly theater hopping, clearly just like, oh, let's just come in here. You know, like they did not know what they were walking into. They must have been in their 70s, if not older. Which fine, great. But like be prepared for a demonic possession movie if maybe it's not your thing. Just know what you're in for. So these little ladies come in and they like try to get us to move. And I'm like, ma'am, we're a half hour in. No, like you guys can sit another seat over. You're clearly theater hopping, which like kind of good for you in your 70s. Like, have at it. Yeah. Anyway, so they find their seats and then they just talk the whole time. And I try to like do the polite thing at first, be like, excuse me, shh, please. And nothing. They keep talking. So I do it again. I'm like, hey, please be quiet. Please, please. And she just one eye said fuck, the other one said you. Like she was just like dead stare. I'm like, are you supposed to be in this movie? What's happening? But so they did not, they just kept talking and talking. And then without giving too much of a spoiler alert for anyone who hasn't seen it, there is one part. There may or may not be a wife who just can't quite grapple with the idea that her husband is a deadite and she makes out with him. And they're doing this demonic makeout scene, and that's what got them to get up and leave. And my favorite part was that they really picked. Isaac turns around, he's like, not doing it for you, huh? Isaac heckled them back. He heckled them. And it was, I've never been so proud. Oh, also, wait, this is another moment, and I'm gonna tell him that I talked about this on the podcast, that he really impressed me. He's getting good. Like he knows that me and my friends were all a bunch of sarcastic a-holes, and we say terrible things all the time. So he's now in on it and he's letting his sarcasm flag fly, which I love. So proud. The maze, I believe it was Dead Deber, Deadest. Yes. Yes, maze, yeah. I loved it. I thought that one knocked it out of the park. And it's kind of ironic that I used to run Horner at the former Lamb Family Mortuary, and it was about a fucked up family doing bad things in a mortuary, and now that venue is sadly closed, and I'm like, ah, why didn't you stay open? I'm sure that maybe they saw the mortician on HBO, was like, oh, that's a cool idea, and kind of brought that in. I don't know. But anyway, I really liked the maze. I thought it was good, but it was the day that we went, they had moved the line to where you would normally wait in line for Jurassic Park. And the whole time I was telling Isaac, you're gonna love Jurassic Park. It's so much fun. I love this ride. Oh my God, I can't wait. And I was so excited. And then we get in the line for this maze, and I'm like, well, wait a minute, we're in the Jurassic Park. So I we go up to an employee and I said, Hey, excuse me, is Jurassic Park not open tonight? And she's like, Yeah, we actually just closed it. I'm really sorry about that. Without missing a beat, Isaac says, Oh, are the dinosaurs okay? And he said it with such a straight face that the woman was like, Oh yeah, it's just that we oh, like she realized that he got her, and then she laughed and he was so proud of himself, and I was so proud of him, and it was like worth the whole night, honestly, for him to make a Jurassic Park joke. It was yeah, so that was kind of the best part, honestly. That was really funny. That's so great. I love that. Yeah, it was pretty goddamn good. I'm gonna be bragging about that for a long time because he got her, and she really got a kick out of it when she realized that he got her. So it was a nice moment.
SPEAKER_05Uh, your heart must have grown three sizes that day.
SPEAKER_07It really did. I was so proud of him. And the fact that he's there at all, because he's not an amusement park guy. He used to work at one, he worked at Hershey Park. Okay. Yeah, so he doesn't need to be at an amusement park. He's been at plenty. He doesn't like waiting in log lines, and he's not a huge horror guy. So I'm like, wow, this is the trifecta of things that are not in your wheelhouse. But he wanted to have date night, and he's such a love bug that he was like, let's go. And I kept telling him, I'm like, babe, it's okay. I can go. You don't, I'll be fine. He's like, no, I should go with you. And I'm like, all right, buckle up, bitch, because it's gonna be a lot. That was cute. That little like, okay, if you don't want to go, buckle up, bitch. I love that. I'm very that. I turn into Freddy Krueger so fast when it comes to these things. I'm like, all right, let's go. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05I mean, yeah. I feel like, you know, yeah. But you have both sides of you, and I love that. I love that.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I like kittens and killers. Kittens and killers. Oh my god, that'd be like we should make another podcast and call it kittens and killers as I drink from my beauty and the beast mug.
SPEAKER_05Is this thing on? Um, hey, uh, you don't need to tap the mic. It's ready whenever you are. Just uh give me a take one whenever you're ready. Howdy y'all, this is Racula. Yes, you heard that right, but it's not what you think. I'm a publicist for monsters and all the things I go bump in the night, and I rack up the wins for my clients and Oh hell's Bells. I'm so sorry about that. It's the Mothman calling. He wanted to tell me how the Mothman Festival went. At least I I think so. Either that or he's trying to take me out for coffee again. Let me just send him back a text real quick. It's fine. We just, um we're on a bit of a tight deadline here. Our season three premiere is on October 6th, and I only booked one hour of studio time for this. Can I try that again? Let's just do a pickup. Can you take it from and I rack up the wins? Sure thing. Great. And we're rolling. And I rack up the wins for my clients. Now, I am just tickled pink that Samantha and Bonnie asked me to do this commercial for one of my favorite brands, the Magic Oil Box. And I've gotta tell y'all, the founder Alex has done something absolutely incredible with the new, revamped look and feel of these scary good aromatherapy blends. As someone who works with legendary brands, it is my honor to introduce y'all to the new genre of aromatherapy. Ghost stories. Whew, I know. Spooky, scary, smelling good. What's not to love? How am I doing? Is that okay? I think you're actually doing great. Um, we're definitely not fitting this in 30 seconds, but I hope Alex loves it. Great. The Black Zodiac Collection explores the darker part of the human experience, rooted in shadow, symbolism, and self-reflection. Each blend transforms those experiences into an intentional aromatherapy ritual. I gotta say, y'all, the copywriter for this is amazing. Just give them the promo code and we'll wrap it up. Whether you've got the spirit in your heart or ghosts in your basement, use code SLAYNerds15 when you shop online at themagicoilbox.com to save and buy one for you, your boo, or your whole crew. Bless you. I'm not gonna tell my cousin Dracula you said that. Let's just do a pickup on the tagline again for safety. Use code Slay Nerds15 to save 15% when you shop online at theMagicOilbox.com. Great. Let me get this to our editor and we'll get back to the show.
SPEAKER_07But you know, 'tis the season for spooky shit to be happening, so Well, yeah, I had some spooky uh spooky happen the other day. Long story short, my aunt is I love her to death, but God she's a pain in the butt. And so I was just talking about her and I was kind of talking about my mom and defending my mom's honor in a way, and the lights started flickering. Like just crazy flickering, because I was extremely emotional and I was just really like hardcore, kind of celebrating my mom in a way, but like also being like, what the you know, I was really charged, and the lights. And then I th I checked, I thought, oh, maybe the light bulbs are out. Nope, they were fine, and all they were doing them at different times. It's weird.
SPEAKER_05Did you feel like Carrie?
SPEAKER_07Yes. They just showed Carrie at Old Town, and they had uh Jen, who's one of the volunteers, and she's like tall and gorgeous and has long hair, and she came out covered in blood. It was rad. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Hell yeah. Yeah. Oh shit, hocus pocus.
SPEAKER_05That was it.
SPEAKER_07My brain just short circuited for a second. Okay. Yeah. It was kind of funny. I was like, is she gonna she glitched? Oh well, speaking of short circuiting though, to go back to Halloween horror nights, the part that made Isaac short circuit and just basically was uh the line for the terrifier tram. Because by the time that we got in that, like because we we ran down to Aussie after that because we really wanted to see Aussie. It was great. I'm really glad I saw that one. But we got in the terrifier line and it was just all of a sudden these hordes of people came in, and it was just like this line that just kept rapping and rapping and rapping and rapping. And he was just like it was he was glitching. And then like his reward for waiting in a 45-minute line of craziness was to go have Art the Clown run up to him. He's not an art the clown guy, so he did it for me though. He did it for me. Proud of him. Yeah, yeah, he did good. But after that, that was his like I can't do it anymore. That was his I'm done. But on the way out, we really wanted to hit Kill Cineira, which I thought was great. I really liked that one. And luckily, that was like one of, if not his favorite. So I'm like, okay, the one more maze I made you go on at least was worth it and good.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. So that's wild. Okay. Yeah. We didn't we didn't get to that one last night, but we did do the Terra Tram. Shout out to my friend Jose, who works at Universal, who helped us skip the line for the Terra Tram, which was That's nice. That was really nice because it was a 45-minute wait at that point. And we definitely saw Ariana Grande's brother ahead of us, and that was weird.
SPEAKER_07Frankie?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, Frankie, not Frankenstein, but Frankie.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, he used to pop up when I was working at Mickey's in West Hollywood, stage managing drag shows. He was around a lot. Adam Lambert would pop out, which is cool. He was always really nice. Who else? Raven Simone would pop in. Like people would just pop in, but Frankie was always around somewhere.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Well, he was haunting me at Halloween nights. But we got onto the Terra tram and it was just people didn't know how to be cool and they weren't listening, and they kept stopping and just being really weird. Like I feel like maybe that was the universe balancing it out because we got on, we waited five minutes. We got on the tram. It was great to like skip the line and we got there. And then people had no chill, they weren't listening, they kept stopping and then backing up the whole line. And it was just, yeah. But it was really funny because we were walking and they were kind of herding us through the different like pathways to go to the Bates Motel and everything. And I see somebody that looks really familiar right here, and I look over and it's another familiar person, but my brain's not clocking it right away because it's so crowded. And then as soon as they're behind me, I go, Wait a minute, that's Spencer and Nadia. Wait a minute, wait a minute. They were right behind us. And my friend Rob was like, Do you want to turn around and say hi? I said, I am not going back through that line of people. Yeah. So I was like, that's gotta be really cool to walk through and hear your stuff at one of the biggest haunts during spooky season. That's gotta be surreal.
SPEAKER_07Right, right. Yeah. Very cool. Small world. Yeah. There were a lot of people there last night. Yeah. Yeah. For whatever reason. I mean, sometimes I don't know if it's like certain nights, like kind of industry invites go out or they're just like, hey, we're doing this. But I know what you mean about like trying to go back in the line. That would have been going against the grain. You would have been yelled at by so many people.
SPEAKER_05Like it would have been really hard. Did not want to do that. I was like, love you guys, don't want to go back. We're good. But you know, shout out to them for always being super cool and like even letting us use their music for season one of the podcast. Like super, super great. Anytime we see Nadia, she's always super nice. Like, I just love our community, you know? Like our weird little group of weirdos in this industry. It's just such solid people.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, weirdos is a compliment in our world for sure.
SPEAKER_05Like we are the weirdos, mister, but in a good way. Like that's our group, you know? Yeah. What else happened? We did Terra Tram. My friend was running it. There was something else. Sinners was my favorite this year.
SPEAKER_07Oh, God. The vampires with the eyes. God. The glowing eyes. So the glowing eyes. Having, you know, the guitar playing right out front and then like the monologue as you go in. It was so well done. It was really, really great.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. And we did the early entry for that. So that was the one that I said, if I can only do one, I want to do that because I want to see how they do it. And it was so well done. And as we were waiting in the line, they started playing the Rocky Road to Dublin. And I was just standing there doing this. I said, Yeah, I'm not beating the white person allegations, just standing here like dancing to it. And my friend Rob was like, Yeah, you know you'd be one of the vampires, right? I said, Yeah, but I wouldn't be part of like the clan. So that's fine, you know? Like, you know, there's a hard line we draw, but I was just like, God, this whole soundtrack, it just, it was so good. The glowing eyes, the vampire on the bungee, not the bungee. Yeah. The bungee vampire, sick. Yeah, that was cool. So well done. It was so fun. People were screaming, and I'm just laughing. Like, this is great. This is so fun. Right, right. Yeah. It was so fun. You might have tried a hundred platforms, each with hidden costs, plugins, multiple logins. But now there's Beamly. Drag and drop website, podcast hosting, online courses, memberships, digital products, and 0% platform fees. All your tools in one crypt. Uh, place. Head to beamly.com and raise your creator studio from the dead. In the best way.
SPEAKER_07Oh my god, the scare actors are here. Can you hear them? They've got their woohoo leaf blowers. Woohoo! Leaves, beware. They're going to move you from one location to the next. That's all it is. That's what they're gonna do. Of course they're here. But I'll just say my friend Alluja, who's an incredible drag performer, she is going to be doing Lydia from Beetlejuice. And October 23rd is my actual birthday, like date of birth. I'm finally 21. That's so crazy. So anyway, we're doing a character roast battle. All of the comics are coming as a character, and then we're gonna roast just the characters on the lineup. So I'm coming as Annabelle, but I'm also putting myself up on the chopping board. So we'll see how this goes. Amazing. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05I'm like, okay. Can you hear the leaf blower? Yes. So Samantha's got leaf blowers and lawnmowers there, which is the scariest thing for me as a voice actor, which I know we've mentioned in a previous episode, but if you're new here, yep. Truly the scariest thing for me, because as soon as I hit record, without a doubt, I'll hear because when you live in suburbia, that's what happens.
SPEAKER_07And because sorry, was that uh uh your vibrator or a leaf blower? Okay, I'll mute myself now.
SPEAKER_05Could be both, why not? As long as it blows me away, I don't care what it is.
SPEAKER_07Okay, well done. Okay, back to mute.
SPEAKER_03Thank you for unmuting yourself so you could laugh at that. I've said it before and I'll say it again.
SPEAKER_05Anytime I can make Samantha legitimately laugh, it's like Halloween morning for me. I would say Christmas morning, but I love Halloween more. So it just like puts a little pep in my step, and I'm like, ooh, I feel like I can do anything. I made Samantha laugh because we've both said we we don't have feelings anymore. So it's nice when it's like when I actually make you laugh out loud. That makes me so happy. So thank you for that gift. But this year, I am very, very excited that you as in Samantha, you as in the listener, you as in the watcher, the viewer, whoever you are, can hear my voice again this Halloween during the haunt season at not just one, but two locations. My voice has returned for the Winchester Mystery House's Festival Fright Nights. You can hear me there in the Houdini add-on experience, the Houdini Seance, you can hear me in that. And you can hear me as one of the spirits inside the house. And I had the pleasure of going last year to go to the experience, and I'd never been up north to the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, and it is a very cool place. And getting to play such an iconic person in the supernatural realms, if you will, getting to voice Sarah Winchester, who was notoriously very private and who has had so many different things said about her over the years, and getting to connect with that character and not play her as a crazy person, which some people believe she was. Other people say she was eccentric, whatever, but she was very private and she had been through a lot of things. But to be able to connect with her in that way and to play her for something and to do it with such a reverence for this character and this person who was real was a very, very moving experience for me. And going through her house and her home and in this haunt where all these actors who were dressed up as spirits and then who I believe are real spirits in that home and getting to pass by her bedroom and they didn't do anything scary in it. It was a place that they had it roped off, but they didn't have anything like scary happening in there. It just felt it was a different lighting setup, it was a different mood, it had a different atmosphere, but it was very moving to walk by that and to see that. And then I also had that thought of, wow, Dame Helen Miren and I have both played the same person. Isn't that a weird thought? That was kind of cool for my little fragile artist ego. And yeah, so she's back this year and it's a such a great group. And I have a great director and script writer and everybody I've worked with up there. It's just like, as I tell them every time I send the invoice, it has been a scream come true to work with you. It's cheesy as hell, but it makes me laugh. And then this year, you can hear me at Queen Mary's Dark Harbor, which is very exciting because we stayed there last year for Midsummer Scream. And I've been going to the Queen Mary for as long as I could remember growing up. I think when I was three years old, the Spruce Goose was there. Howard Hughes's giant plane was there, and just going to learn about the history of the ship and going there all the time and doing ghost tours and stuff and things like that. But now getting to be a part of their Halloween haunt and their haunt experience and getting to play the little girl ghost on the ship, Scary Mary, in not just an add-on experience with a seance, but in one of the mazes is very, very cool. And I'm so stoked. And again, everybody I've worked with has been phenomenal. And it's just so cool to take this love of live events and Halloween and to be able to go, oh, I did this for my job. Like it's a very cool thing. And I know you relate to that. Like getting to be a part of Halloween time and using your voice and your art to create something or to be a part of something is really, really cool. And that's something I love about working with you in our industry is like we both are parts of the entertainment industry in different ways, and we meet all these other people who also have this love for it, and we get to contribute our voices and our viewpoints in some way. And I just think like I'm so lucky to get to do what I get to do and to do it with you and with these other amazing people. It's just yeah, it's very cool.
SPEAKER_07I feel like I made a wish on the one wish, well, because that was pretty lovely. Oh my gosh. I did break one before the episode started, so it's working. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_05Okay, well then I'm glad we I'm glad we both wished for the same thing. Are there are there any last wishes you want to make before we have to go?
SPEAKER_07Please don't go.
SPEAKER_05Don't go.
unknownDon't go.
SPEAKER_05No, no.
SPEAKER_07No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, don't do that. But we love Nikki, and we're sorry that happened, you and we're sorry the bear was such a douchebag.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. You didn't deserve that girl. I didn't see her at Halloween Horror Nights, did you?
SPEAKER_07No, but you know what? I did read something about like they took her out. I don't know if they put her back in. I'll have to read more into that. Yeah, but I didn't see her anywhere. So we would have to confirm that she's still there.
SPEAKER_05Okay, because I didn't see her at all. I didn't see anything about it. I didn't hear anything about it.
SPEAKER_07No, I think they might have been weird, sadly.
SPEAKER_05I hope people weren't weird with her, you know. People are weird.
SPEAKER_07That's the thing. I mean, if you notice the art the clowns that were walking throughout the park, they had to have security with them.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_07And I think, you know, like, hey, listen, I know we're all trying to create content and I know that we want views and we want to have that perfect thumbnail. Like, I understand that, but can you live in the fucking moment for once and put your fucking phone down and just enjoy the spooky spirit and let art be art without you chasing him so that you can get a reel out of it? Yeah. Come on, dude.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Basic respect for other people. Yeah. Because they are also other people. We understand as performers and entertainers that those are people underneath the costumes. Those are still people who deserve their autonomy like Mickey. You know, who do not deserve to be harassed like Mickey. Right. Like those are still people, and we're not people don't deserve to be harassed and harassed. Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Yeah. It's creepy, dude. Like, don't be a creeper. Just don't like admire wildlife from a distance. Admire the scare actors from a distance. The rule is if they come up to you, you can interact with them. And that it's on their terms. Like, think of them as orcas in the wild.
unknownYep.
SPEAKER_07You know? Yeah. It's just crazy the lack of boundaries that people have. They just it doesn't occur to them, hey, these are humans trying to do a job, and this is full on harassment. You freaking. Also, I'm just like, I don't know. And the irony is we will be putting this on social media and we are trying to to reach people. However, you really have to pick and choose your moments in life and what you want to actually be present for and what is an opportunity for a cool video or what you are forcing that is awkward for everybody. Like just interact with a human face to face and I don't know, remember things with your brain. I don't know. This is also coming from a woman in her 40s. So I understand, you know, that the new batch of 20-year-olds are raised a little differently. I understand that. But my gosh, can we live somewhat in the moment at all? Please. And just enjoy a murder clown for what a murder clown is, you know?
SPEAKER_05You know, you are at a theme park where there are actors and performers and entertainers who are there to entertain you. Be cool. Don't be weird. And again, like don't be bear. Don't be bear. Yeah, don't be bear. That's it. That's not the bear that women would choose. Don't be bear. Like let people have their autonomy. Right. Ooh, that was good. Thank you.
SPEAKER_01Look at us teaching people morals.
